    We have just had a survey completed on the house we are hoping to purchase and there has been some concerns raised regarding the guttering. So we are in the process of getting quotes for repair. Below is the summary regarding the gutters in the survey:

    Improved support be provided to the gutters where support is provided by rise and fall brackets. The overpainting to the downpipe on the front elevation be suitably addressed and improved support be provided to the downpipe. The cast iron downpipe on the rear be suitably treated for corrosion prior to redecoration and the joints are recommended to be maintained in a sealed condition. Areas of vegetation growth be removed from the gutters.
