    I own an upper villa, where the bottom villa is a council property. The guttering above both doors (cast guttering) has been leaking for some time and is causing damage to the stone work. The council have told us it needs to be replaced, despite telling us they could fix for £60 previously. I work from home, and I have never seen the council check the guttering, so unsure as to how they’ve come to that decision.
    It would therefore be great to get an independent expert to look at it, toassess exactly what needs done, with a view to possibly picking up the work (I don’t trust the council to do it right!)
